Currently... (11-20-14)

Currently...
Typing as the dialogue from Thor drifts up the stairs.

Regretting...
That I don't post on here very much.

Thinking...
About why it's so much easier to post on my personal blog. Because I put in part of myself. (I really ought to do that with this blog as well)

Dreaming...
Of days when I am not so focused on useless nothings

Wishing...
I wasn't so forgetful, so irregular

Contemplating...
On whether to send a friend an epistle that is heartfelt but foolish

Feeling...
Petty and childish, but wanting a friend to talk to

Thinking...
That maybe this is a silly thing to post and I should just delete it. Right now.

Deciding...
That maybe I should send that email to my friend. Maybe it will make me feel better. Maybe not.

Worrying...
That maybe tonight will be like the last several nights, when I lay awake in bed and think about what friends can I trust in? Who is for real?

Latest Creation (10/21/14)

Hello, lovlies! I realize I'm not really updating this blog as I should, and I need to step it up. I tend to post more on my personal blog, Reflections of the Heart; it just comes easier to me.
But I have decided that I will either pick up the pace with this blog or close it down. Fortunately for you who enjoy seeing these posts, I have grown rather attached to this little blog and I would absolutely hate to delete it. :)

So here is my latest creation...

 A cupcake hat!

This is the first time (to my remembrance) I have attempted to make a cupcake hat, and I'm so glad I tried! My cousin and friend Lydia bought it for her friend's baby. :)
You can see the sprinkles, right?
My grandma used a Cheerio Kid as a model, lol!  XD

Current Projects (10/4/14)

So I posted this post on the Reflections of my Heart blog instead of this one (all accidental, of course). So here it is again!

So recently I've been crocheting a lot more than usual (no, I don't normally make one hat a day). I thought I would post about different products I've made lately, with pictures, of course! :)

Here are some owl sleepy masks I made; both of them sold at the craft sale I went to last Saturday. :)
Which do you like better? The one with its eyes open or the one winking? Or do you think they would be cuter with both eyes shut?

I also made a Nemo hat on request; it was a bit more difficult than I expected. :P

I have got to buy a styrafoam head one of these days. My arm doesn't work very well. :P

As I mentioned earlier, I went to a craft sale with my mom last Saturday. It was pretty exciting, it being my first craft sale to have my own booth. We managed to sell quite a few hats from the 8WC, all the profits from which went to the Master's Home.
It's really crazy how we raised over $130 for the orphanage, don't you think? ;)

Yes, I'm still freaking out about it. XD

My Current Projects

Hello again! Today I'm going to post some of the projects I've been working on. I have been crazy busy, but somehow I always end up crocheting. Even when I don't have any spare time to do it. :P
I have only gotten a few orders lately; not that I mind. I'm a little glad I haven't gotten any more than I have because I might have gone out of mind! XD

An order for a pink owl hat. This one is cuter than the last one. :)

An order for a tiger hat, which I already had made for the 8WC so 100% of that order goes to the orphanage.

I got a big donation of yarn from some good friends of mine. Thanks again, Patience and Mercy Fulton! As you can see, this whole bag is chock-full of baby yarn!

By the way, the bag is bigger than it looks. ;)

Now

I am *so* sorry I haven't posted anything in so long. :(
I've been incredibly busy; I mean, this has to be the busiest summer (and maybe even year) of my life. :P
Having a business has been a little bit more stressful than I anticipated. I will definitely be posting pictures of products I'm working on in the next couple of days.

My Birthday (VERY late)

OK, I kind of forgot to do this for my birthday, but I'm going to ask everyone who is reading this to donate $14 (since I turned 14) to the Master's Home in Uyo, Nigeria. I'm still trying to figure out how to put a donate button here, but for now I'll just a leave a link to their Donate page. Now if you don't want to donate $14 or maybe you don't have $14, that's fine. I totally understand. Any amount helps. :)
Please don't feel forced or pressured to do this.

P.S. Please comment to tell me if you do :)
